Ruth Guerrero Sanchez, a resident of Dothan, died Friday, June 14, 2024 at Southeast Health Medical Center. She was 86.

No services are planned at this time. 

Mrs. Sanchez was born May 17, 1938 in Los Angeles, California to the late Adolph and Carmen Acosta Guerrero. She moved to Dothan in 1991 and worked as an Insurance Manager at Southern Bone and Joint. Mrs. Sanchez was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist church where she also sang in the choir. She enjoyed crochet and crafts and will be remembered for her love for family. 

Mrs. Sanchez is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alfred Sanchez and two brothers, Adolph and Manuel Guerrero. 

Survivors include her children, John and Libby Snachez, Sandra Samantha Sanchez; grandchildren, Marqel Lee, Frankie Jackson (Ruth Ellen), Matthew Sanchez; great grandchildren, Ellis, Truitt and McCoy Jackson; siblings, Richard Guerrero, Bobby Guerrero (Helen) and Rose Marie Murtha (Frank).
