Sam was a Firefighter and EMT for the Jackson County Fire Department. He was a member of Covenant UMC and a Northview High School class of 1981 graduate. He was born January 10, 1963 to Betty and Robert Breth in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Sam was very spiritual, outgoing and always open to new adventures. He found humor in life and would fill a room with his infectious laughter. Sam found great joy in helping others. He will always be remembered for the many random acts of kindness he performed throughout his life. An avid University of Alabama and NASCAR fan, he love to attend football games in Tuscaloosa and races at Talladega. His family, friends and everyone else whose days he brightened during his life will forever miss Sam.
