Samuel Anglin, 79, a resident of Dothan, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 30,2021, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Houston County on November 13, 1941, to the late Sam Anglin and Addie Bell (Knox) Anglin.


Funeral Services will be 1PM, Saturday, November 6, 2021, at North Highland Baptist Church with Reverend Robert Jones officiating, with burial to follow at Memory Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 PM – 7PM on Friday, November 5, 2021, at Ward Wilson Funeral Home.


In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Carrie Bell Rance Anglin, sons, Jeffery, and Sherman Anglin; brother; Jerry Stanley; sisters, Cubie White, Gloria Anglin, and Alfreda Green.


Survivors include his children, Tony Anglin, Antionette Anglin, Steven Anglin, Jonathan Anglin, Darren Anglin, and Shay Anglin; grandchildren, Antonio, Tavis, Ieshia, Breanna, Ajaysia,  Zakeya, Shania, Jamari, Amiya, Anthony,  Darien, Xaden, Devante, and Deneco; great-grandchildren, Trenton, Issac, Isaziah, Journey,  Legend and Karter; sister, Helen Lewis along with many other  nephews and nieces, relatives and friends.
