Sandra Elaine Waters

Sandra Elaine Waters, a resident of Rehobeth, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at a local hospital. She was 77 years old.

A celebration of her life will be held at 11 am on Friday, October 28, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Joey Hudspeth officiating. Interment will follow in Rehobeth Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 10-11 am.

Sandy was born in Pensacola, FL to Lloyd and Mary Vickery Allen on April 2, 1945. She was a graduate from Pensacola Tech High School and worked as an LPN for many years. Sandy later retired from Flowers Hospital. She loved her family and cooking meals for them. Sandy enjoyed traveling all over the southeast with her husband.

Sandy was preceded in death by her daughter, Angie Waters.

Survivors include her husband, Walter Waters; her daughters, Sherry (Marty) Richards and Genie (Ben) Turner; her eight grandchildren, Whitney (Blake) Shirah, Aaron (Kelsey) Featherston, Christian Turner, Sam Turner, Hannah Turner, Connie Turner, Arial Roberts, and David Evans-Wood; her 10 great grandchildren; her brother, Gary (Hope) Allen; her special cousins, Judy Hall and Diane Wagner; and several nieces and nephews.
