Sandra Jean Webber, a resident of Dothan, passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at a local hospital. She was 70.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Monday, April 17, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 10-11 am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Wounded Warriors Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675-8517.
Mrs. Webber was born on January 25, 1947 in Griffin, Georgia and lived the early years of her life there. She graduated from high school in Jacksonville, Florida in 1965. She was a devoted mother and homemaker. While living in McCordsville, Indiana, she served as the town treasurer for 5 years. Mrs. Webber resided in Langley, Washington before moving to Alabama in 2003. She was a great artist and loved to draw and paint. She loved to garden and grow flowers. Mrs. Webber was very skilled with home improvement projects.
Survivors include her husband, Jim Webber; her children, Christine Jarrett, Jenny Brown, Nikki Buckland, and Veronica Buckland-Langfield; her four grandchildren, Jonathon Jones, Jordan Jones, Kristi Jarrett, and Lena Buckland-Langfield; her mother, Elizabeth Durham; her brother, Bud Durham; her sister, Linda Rose; and several nieces and nephews.
