Sandra Lee Mathis of Geneva, AL passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Wiregrass Medical Center. She was 59 years old.

Graveside services will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 4, 2021 with Rev. Alan Meyer officiating and Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 2:00 p.m. and will continue until 2:45 p.m.

Sandra was born in Elkhart, IN on February 14, 1962. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, and sister. She enjoyed raising her four grandchildren, Payton, Tristan, Ryan, and Grace.

She was preceded in death by her son, Randall J. Willis, in June 2016.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Joseph R. Mathis, Jr. of Geneva, AL, a daughter, Jennifer M. Willis of GA; her mother, Yvonne Cook of Gulfport, MS; two sisters, Tina L. Johnson and husband Billy of Gulfport, MS, and Wendy Hoover of Dothan, AL; four grandchildren, Payton M. Willis, Tristan I. Willis, Ryan J. Willis, and Ashliegh G. Frechette, all of Geneva, AL; and several nephews and nieces.
