Sandra Marsh Coste, 58, of Ozark passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at her residence.

Funeral services will be 11 am Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Kelley officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Friday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Coste was born July 20, 1954 in Dale County, AL and graduated from Ariton High School and Enterprise State Junior College with an AS degree. She later returned to college and attended Troy University for 1 year. She worked for over 30 years in civil service and medically retired in 2012. Mrs. Coste had a passion for rescuing Shetland Sheepdogs and was a member of Post Oak Baptist where she taught the nursery class and children’s ministries. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alonzo and Ruth Marsh and brothers Jimmy and Kenneth Marsh.

Survivors include her husband Johnny Coste of Ozark; a stepson, James Wesley (Dawn) Coste of Tallahasse, FL; a stepdaughter, Sherry Renee Owens of Elizabeth City, NC; six grandchildren, Jason, Kayla and Samuel Coste and Skylar, Dallas and Jared Owens; two brothers, Robert “Buddy” (Patsy) Marsh of Ariton, AL and Taylor (Pat) Marsh of Dacula, GA; a sister, Peggy McTaggart of Acworth, GA; two sisters-in-law, Lila Marsh and Joy Marsh; and several nieces and nephews.
