Sandra Olean Strickland, 74, a resident of Dothan, passed away on Monday, January 2, 2023, at Southeast Health. She was born in Dothan on August 30, 1948, to the late Hubert Gerald Finley and Dorothy Ann (Powell) Finley.

A graveside service will be 1 PM, Thursday, January 5, 2023, at Dothan City Cemetery with Pastor Tim Skelton officiating. There will be no public visitation.

Sandra was a devoted and dedicated wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. She was a member of Dothan Baptist Church. Her hobbies included making crafts, sewing, and listening to gospel music.

In addition to his parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, James Franklin Strickland, and brother, Hubert G. Finley, Jr.

Survivors include her children, Kimberly Williford and Terry (Amy) Strickland, grandchildren, Justin (Rebecca) Williford, Andrea Naper, and Stacey (J.C.) Hutcheson, sister, Barbara Ann Middleton, half-sister, Phyllis Carol Elmore, four great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and many loving family members and friends along with her fur baby, Sophie.
