Sarah Louise Joyner, a resident of Ozark, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at a local hospital. She was 77.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, December 17, 2016 in Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Ozark with Rev. Jim Hill officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 1-2 pm.

Mrs. Joyner was born on January 20, 1939 in Ozark and resided there most of her life. She was a member of the first graduating class of Carroll High School in 1957. Mrs. Joyner attended Wallace Community College. Mrs. Joyner was a homemaker and a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Ozark for the past 12 years.

Mrs. Joyner was preceded in death by her husband, Clint Joyner, her son, Clinton Warren Joyner, Jr., and by her parents, Viola and Cecil Stanford.

Survivors include her sons, Charlie C. (Patricia) Joyner and Clifford W. (Jennifer) Joyner; her daughter, S. Katrinia (Jason) Godwin; her grandchildren, Mary-Louise (Tyson) McDaniel, Alesha D. (Donald) Saucier, Michael S. (Brittany) Joyner, Christianna M. Joyner, Rachel Shunnarah, Emily S. Joyner, P. Gage Godwin, and Aubrey G. Godwin; her great-grandchildren, Emma McDaniel, Sara McDaniel, Will Creamer, Katelyn McLaughlin, and John Michael Joyner; her future grandchild, Joshua Warren Joyner; her 2 brothers, Allen (Eleanor) Stanford and Michael (Deborah) Stanford; her 2 sisters, Martha Stanford and Linda (Gerhard) Boehm; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
