Sarah Nell Watson, 64, a resident of Ozark, passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at a local hospital.


Funeral services will be held 12 noon Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jim Hill officiating. Graveside services will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11am until 12 noon Saturday.


Mrs. Watson was born September 2, 1951 in Dale County and she resided the early years of her life in Ozark. She was a homemaker and a military spouse. She lived in numerous places throughout their career, until they returned to Ozark in 1983 upon his retirement. She was a member of the Pleasant Hill Methodist Church and was dedicated to the children's church and vacation bible school studies.


She was preceded in death by her daughter Misty Sue Watson Devine.


Survivors include her husband, James N. Watson; her son, James LeRoy (Christine) Watson; her daughter, Mary Jo (Michael) Dotson; grandchildren, Tukker Watson, Casey James Dotson, Rachael Dotson, Clint James Devine, Anna Grace Devine, Carter Luke Devine; her great-grandchild, Aiden Eli Watson; her sister, Barbara Newton (Brian) Davis; and several nieces and nephews.
