Scott Anthony Chiavini of Coffee Springs, AL passed away on Monday, June 24, 2024. He was 65 years old.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 12, 2024 at The Crossing Church in Geneva, AL with Rev. Red Coleman officiating. The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to The Crossing Church, 617 S. Commerce St., Geneva, AL 36340.

Scott was born in Peoria, IL on May 11, 1959 to the late Everett Louis and Barbara Jean Holycross Chiavini. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and brother. Scott was multi-talented, in that he could “fix” about anything with his own two hands. For many years, he was the builder of the vacation bible school decorations for the church, he was an artist and a true servant of the Lord. He was the first to step up and lend a helping hand to anyone in need or that had a job for him. Scott was always willing to be available when work needed to be done.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 44 years, Cynthia Lynn Chiavini; two sons, Brandon Chiavini and Aaron Chiavini (Amanda Crain), all of Coffee Springs, AL; one brother, Steve Chiavini (Kelly) of St. Cloud, FL; one sister, Cindy Clegg (Gary) of Mooresville, NC; a number of special nieces and nephews also survive.
