OZARK…. Sevilla Becker “Sam” Sellers, a resident of Ozark, near Skipperville, died late Tuesday evening, February 25, 2020 at her home. She was 75.

            Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 29, 2020 in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home Chapel with Judge P.B. (Ben) McLauchlin officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Ozark-Dale County Humane Society, P.O. Box 2502, Ozark, AL 36361, or to Community Hospice of Dale Medical Center, 415 James St., Ozark, AL 36360.

            Mrs. Sellers, daughter of the late Albert A. Becker and Eileen Affholder Becker, was a native of Topeka, Kansas. She has lived in Ozark since 1990. Mrs. Sellers enjoyed spending time with her family, watching ball games, camping and fishing. She had a servant’s heart and helped many families in the Ozark area taking care of their loved ones. Mrs. Sellers was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Frank Sellers.

            Surviving relatives include her daughters, Kandy Kenney, Ozark; Stacey Boos (Joe), Topeka, KS and Mindi Meyaard (Brandon), Hilton Head, SC; a son, Darren Dunlap (Cindi), Ocilla, GA; two sisters, Betsy Tarvin (Jack), Oketo, KS and Wanda Meinhardt, Topeka, KS; two brothers, Harold Becker, Ozark and Gary Becker (Chris), Power, MT; four grandchildren, Kristina Wockenfuss (Ray), Cody Boos (Grace), Dalton Dunlap, and Kenzie Dunlap; one great-granddaughter, Leila Wockenfuss; mother-in-law, Grace Weaver, Ozark; her K-9 companions, Foxy and Maye.

            The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Community Hospice of Dale Medical Center for their loving care and kindness shown to her during her illness. A special thank you to Dr. Radu Constantine for his friendship and medical care given to her.
