A celebration of his life will be held at 2 pm on Monday, April 18, 2022 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Goldsmith officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Monday at the funeral home from 1-2 pm.

Shain Ryan Maloy, a resident of Skipperville, passed away on Monday, April 11, 2022 in Florida. He was 33 years old.
A celebration of his life will be held at 2 pm on Monday, April 18, 2022 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Goldsmith officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Monday at the funeral home from 1-2 pm.
Shain was born on October 21, 1988 in Cape Canaveral, Florida and lived there the early years of his life in Brevard County, Florida. He moved to Skipperville, Alabama in 1998 and attended G.W. Long High School but moved back to Florida and has resided there for the past 18 years. Shain loved the outdoors especially while hunting and fishing. He enjoyed mini sportsman race cars. Shain was always moving and was a dare devil.
Shain was preceded in death by his mother, Mika Townsend, his grandfather, Mike Hopson, and by his grandmother, Joyce Maloy.
Survivors include his son, Dustyn Maloy; his daughter, Hannah Maloy; his father, Dwyane (Grace) Maloy; his grandparents, Georganne Copp and Joe Copp; his great-grandparents, Dorothy Marine and Dick Marine; his sister, Casie (Chris) Crumb; his step brother, Peter (Mandy) Pauley, III; his five nieces and nephews, Conner Crumb, Carson Crumb, Payton Pauley, Anna Pauley, Kimber Pauley.
