ABBEVILLE, AL… Sharon Williams Kilgore, a resident of Abbeville, Alabama, passed away Friday, February 4, 2022, at a Dothan hospital. She was 70.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 6, 2022 at Smyrna Baptist Church Cemetery in Dothan, Alabama, with Brother Hosea Parker officiating. All Covid-19 precautions and guidelines will be in place, an enforced. Arrangements are being handled by Wright Funeral Home & Crematory.
Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be in her honor to your favorite charity.
Mrs. Kilgore was born in Dothan, Alabama, to the late Robert Wesley Williams and Annie Clyde Bridges Williams. She lived her younger years in Headland, Alabama. She was a 1970 graduate of Headland High School. She lived most of her adult life in Dothan, Alabama before moving to Abbeville, Alabama about 12 years ago. She worked as a dental assistant. She was a former member of the Pilot Club. She was a member of the Judson Baptist Church in Abbeville, Alabama.
Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by a grandchild, Gavin Seay; her brothers, Wayne Williams and Bobby Williams; and her sister, Martha Ann Williams.
Leaving to cherish her memories is her husband, David Kilgore; her daughter, Shannon Seay (Kevin); her son John David Kilgore (Delisha); her sisters, Dorothy Evelyn Bush and Glenda Sue Forrest; her grandchildren, David Tice Kilgore, Garret Seay, Greer Seay (Kameron) and Eli Seay; and several nieces and nephews.
Her grandsons will serve as active pallbearers.
