SHELBY “JEAN” ARMSTRONG
PENSACOLA, FL… Shelby “Jean” Armstrong, a resident of Panama City, Florida, passed away Monday, September 19, 2022, at Bay Breeze Nursing Facility in Pensacola, Florida. She was 80.
A private family graveside service will be held 12:00 P.M. Saturday, October 1, 2022 at Abbeville Memorial East, with Reverend Joey Hudspeth officiating. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Shelby Jean’s name, to the Alzheimer’s Association, www.act.alz.org or 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl.17, Chicago, Illinois 60601.
Shelby Jean was born on May 19, 1942 in Abbeville, Alabama. She loved her children and was especially proud of her granddaughter, Abby. Shelby Jean’s hobbies were reading books and growing African Violets. She also truly enjoyed helping others.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Iris Rogers; her sister, Jeanette D’Errico; and her brother, Randy Helton Bradley.
Leaving to cherish her memories are her daughter, Dana Colton (Mike); her sons, Scott Armstrong, Joe Armstrong (Toni Harbert), and Brent Armstrong (Vonda); her granddaughter, Abigayle Colton; her brothers, Ronnie Bradley (Pat) and Bruce Bradley (Elise); and two very special nieces, Mary Daniel and Donna D’Errico.
