Shelia Mae Watts

Shelia Mae Watts, a beacon of love and selflessness, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2024, in Dothan, Alabama. Born on April 26, 1957, in Apopka, Florida, Shelia grew up imbued with the sunshine of her birth state, which radiated through her personality and actions throughout her life.

Shelia was the cherished daughter of the late Mitchell B. Doyle and Agatha Greene Doyle, and she was a loving sister to her brothers Dennis, Tommy, Henry, and Frankie Doyle. She was predeceased by her sister Detra Doyle, whose memory she held close to her heart. Shelia's legacy continues through her loving son, Kevin Ray Little, and her devoted daughter, Shelly Nagatha Worley, married to Forrest. Her grandchildren, Megan Renee Little, Christian Shay Little, Austin Blake Williamson, Kyle Randy Worley, and Kayden Blake Worley, were the light of her life, and she embraced every moment she spent with them.

A homemaker by profession, Shelia excelled in the art of raising children and creating a warm and welcoming home. Her home was a haven for family, friends, and anyone who needed a comforting space. She was an active member of her community, always ready to lend a helping hand or a listening ear.

Shelia's zest for life was evident in her passions. She was an avid writer, using her words to capture the beauty of the world around her and the depth of the human experience. Traveling was another joy of hers, and she often reminisced about her younger years spent moving between Apopka, FL, and Greensboro, NC. The beach was a sanctuary for her spirit, and riding her son's Harley was a thrilling expression of her adventurous side.

Above all, Shelia cherished spending time with her family. She was a protector, a guiding light, and the epitome of loving compassion. Her selfless nature meant she often put the needs of others before her own, and her presence was a source of comfort and strength to those she loved.

As we bid farewell to Shelia Mae Watts, we celebrate a life lived with boundless love and generosity. Her spirit will forever be remembered and cherished by her family, her friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her. Though she may have departed from this earthly realm, the love she shared will continue to shine brightly, guiding us through the days ahead.
