Shirley Ann Gatlin, a resident of Dothan, AL, passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Wesley Place.
Graveside services in Auburndale Cemetery, Auburndale, Florida will be announced at a later date.
Shirley was born on June 17, 1937 in Auburndale, FL to Clifford and Elva Gatlin. After graduating from Auburndale High School she started working as a secretary at Patrick Airforce Base. Shirley then worked at Adams Packing Company as a packer. She moved to Dothan in 2002. Shirley was a loving mother, enjoyed spending time with her family and loved to sing and dance. She had a strong faith in God. Shirley was a member of Orange Street Church of Christ. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Ellen Gatlin Stokes.
Survivors include her three children, Peggy Chattelle (Mickey Smith), Paula Gatlin Booker and Gerald (Misty) Gatlin; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one niece, Sandra Stokes Stansell.
