MIDLAND CITY, ALABAMA. . .Shirley Marion Lord Keeler, a resident of Midland City, Alabama, died late Wednesday night, May 15, 2024, in a Dothan hospital. She was 85.

            There are no memorial or funeral services planned at this time. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremation, Headland, Alabama, is in charge of arrangements.

            Mrs. Keeler was born and reared in Danbury, Connecticut, daughter of the late Ralph Lord and Marion Smith Lord. She lived all her life in Danbury before moving to Midland City March 31, 2024. Mrs. Keeler was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Thomas Keeler, a brother, Gerald Lord and a sister, Doris Settanni.

            Surviving relatives include a daughter, Susan Chapman, Midland City, AL; a son, Thomas Keeler, Danbury, CT; a brother, Duane Lord (Linda), North Carolina; grandchildren, Kristin Cochran (Jonathon), Jade Hicks and Brandon McCauley; great-grandchildren, Adrianne Cochran and Alex Cochran.
