SHIRLEY  NABORS  STEELY

 

COLUMBIA. . .Shirley Nabors Steely, a resident of Columbia, died Monday morning, January 16, 2012, in a Dothan hospital. She was 73.

            Graveside services will be held at 2:30 P. M. Tuesday, January 17, 2012, in the Epworth United Methodist Church Cemetery, in Eufaula, with Reverend Larry Sowell officiating. Holman-Headland Mortuary is in charge of funeral arrangements.

            Mrs. Steely was born and reared in Birmingham, daughter of the late Cecil Nabors and Lois Hardin Nabors. She moved to Columbia in 1974. Mrs. Steely was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Dean Steely. She was of the Baptist faith.

            She is survived by close friends, Jean D. Berry, Phyllis Adkinson, Wylline Waters, Margaret Nation and Amy Fikes.
