Shiyawna Quatay Bilbo-Pittman, 18, of Dothan, passed away on May 21, 2024.
Born on June 9, 2005, in Dothan, AL. Shiyawna was known for being captain of the color guard and a member of the National Junior Honor Society and FFA. She graduated from Dale County High School and went on to work at Coleman Moving Worldwide.
Shiyawna (Shy) was a beautiful, free-spirited young woman. She brought joy to all around her with her kind heart. She was a creative person who enjoyed art, cooking, baking, and dancing. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, playing softball, and doing her make-up.
Shiyawna Bilbo-Pittman is survived by her mother, Janie Bilbo; her father, Nekar Pittman; grandfather, James Bilbo (Susan Archuleta); two sisters, Joslyn Bilbo, and Carlin Bilbo; three brothers, Jaikia Pittman, Keshawn Thomas, and Kevon Thomas; a nephew, Ace Hurley; a niece, Elliana Powell; her best friend, Bethany Cogman; 4 aunts and 3 uncles. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Janie Ward; paternal grandmother, Carolyn Thomas; paternal grandfather, R.C. Pittman; one aunt, Shawna Ward-Thomas.
Funeral services will be held on at 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 27th, 2024, at Harpers Joy Assembly of God Church with Reverend Eddie Littlefield officiating and Glover Funeral Home directing. Public viewing will begin be at 1:00 p.m.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
