Sidney Allen Brannon of Hartford, Alabama passed away on Monday, September 16, 2024, at Wiregrass Medical Center in Geneva. He was 68 years old.

He was born on December 25, 1955, in Dothan, Alabama to the late Benard Howell Brannon and late Minnie Kate Yates Brannon. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his daughter, Kate Ellen Wells.

Just a small town man with a passion for driving and operating antique tractors and equipment. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with family. He was a humble man, liked people, and talked to everyone.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 20, 2024, at Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Hartford with Kevin Tolley officiating. Burial will follow in Hartford City Cemetery under direction of Shelby Lett. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Survivors include his son, Nathan Allen Brannon of Hartford; grandchildren, Spencer Allen Brannon (Sarah) of Savannah, Georgia, Kobi Erin Brannon Ayala (Louis) of Clarksville, Tennessee, Aubrey Kate Brannonof Savannah, Georgia, and Joshua Wells of Hartford; great grandchildren, Esther Brannon, Catherine Brannon, and Iris Ayala; siblings, Johnny Brannon (Jennifer) of Samson; Carol Fulford (Ronald) of Daleville, Rosemary Wright of Alabaster, Richard Brannon (Ginger) of Hartford; and Terry Lofton (Mike) of Hartford.
