 Sister Elaine Gulledge Moseley, a resident of Columbia, died early Saturday morning, November 28, 2015. She was 79.


            Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, November 30, 2015, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Gary R. Brady officiating.  Burial will follow in the Blue Springs Word of Truth Church Cemetery near Blue Springs. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 P.M. Monday at the mortuary in Headland.          


            Sister Moseley was born in Barbour County, near Louisville, daughter of the late Willie Dixon Gulledge and Lessie Delphine Teal Gulledge. She lived in the Headland area most of her adult lifetime. Sister Moseley was an ordained Pentecostal Minister and the founder and director of the Mary and Martha Helping Hands Clothing and Food Ministry. She formerly served as Pastor of the Welcome Assembly of God Church and the Assistant Pastor of Faith Congregational. Sister Moseley also served with her husband as an Evangelist in the name of Sister Elaine and Glory. In later years, she devoted most of her time in raising a great-granddaughter and a great-grandson. She was a member of New Freedom Church in Webb. Sister Moseley was preceded in death by a sister, Delphine Griggs and brothers, Willie Earl Gulledge, Y.C. Gulledge, and James Robert Gulledge.  


            Surviving relatives include her husband, John Ray Moseley, Columbia; three daughters, Carol Luck (James), Dothan, Leslie Gutierrez (Ray), Spring, TX., and Laura Lee Moseley, Headland; three sons, Raymond McKee (Jessica), Auburndale, FL., Eddie McKee (Dixie), Winter Haven, FL., and Bobby McKee (Mary), Headland; two sisters, Jean Gulledge, Headland, and Inez Evans (Earl), Skipperville; two brothers, Rev. Winford Gulledge (Mildred), and David Gulledge (Susan), all of Headland; sisters-in-law, Jennie Mae Gulledge, Headland and Nadine Gulledge, Prattville; numerous grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, including Benjamin and Bailey Luck, who Sister Moseley was raising in her home.
