Stanley Bowers departed this life on Monday, November 11, 2024 at his home in Webb, Alabama. Funeral service will be held Friday, November 15, 2024, 11 a.m. at Fowler Family Funeral Home (965 Woodland Drive, Dothan, AL) with Chaplain John Gormley officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in the Dothan City Cemetery.

Stanley was born March 2, 1962 to the late Hollis Bowers, Jr and Faye Spurlin Bowers at Mizell Memorial Hospital in Opp, Alabama. He was united in holy matrimony to the late Belinda Kay Snipes of Rosewood, North Carolina. They settled in Golsboro, North Carolina.

He leaves to cherish his memory three children Hollie Bowers of Pompano Beach, Florida, Kaitlynn Bowers (Tyler) of Rehobeth, Alabama, and Stephen Bowers of La Grange, North Carolina; a loving Mother Faye Bowers Baker of Webb, Alabama, two loving sisters Carla (DeDe) Hatcher of Webb, Alabama and Renae Cameron (Alex) of Dothan, Alabama; two grandchildren of Pompano Beach, Florida; one aunt Melba Lisenby (Bob) of Abbeville, Alabama; one uncle Gary Spurlin (Olivia) of Troy, Alabama; and a host of friends and other relatives.

Pall bearers are Tony Kelly, Don Earl Hughes, Alex Cameron, Raymond Smith, Tyler Grantham and Charlie Wilson.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to children with special needs charities.
