DOTHAN…..Mrs. Stella Benton Still, 96, a resident of Dothan, died early Tuesday morning, November 15, 2011, in a Dothan hospital.


           


Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M Thursday, November 17, 2011, in the Grandview Baptist Church with Reverend Mike Grimes and Reverend Rick Glenn officiating. Burial will follow in Smyrna Baptist Cemetery in Dothan. Holman-Headland Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. Thursday in the sanctuary of the Grandview Baptist Church.


           


Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Grandview Baptist Church, 2400 Forrester Road, Dothan, AL 36301.


           


Mrs. Still, a native of Barbour County, lived in Dothan most of her life. She was a member of Grandview Baptist Church. Mrs. Still was preceded in death by her husband, Sanford Cumbie Still; an infant son, Samuel Still, two sisters and three brothers.


           


Surviving relatives include four daughters, Carolyn (Lewie) Ezell, Dothan; Linda (Stanley) Parker, Ozark; Sarah (James) Moorer, Dothan; and Martha Still, Mobile; four grandchildren, Bill (Stacey) Ezell; Robin Causey, Liesl (Steve) Strength and Alan (Christie) Parker; six great-grandchildren, William Ezell, Amy Ezell, Paige Causey, Taylor Strength, Brady Strength and David Parker; a niece, Ola Coe, Bristol, Connecticut.
