Steve Anthony Smith, age 78, of Clayhatchee, AL, passed away Monday, April 5, 2021 at his home.

Funeral services will be held at County Line Baptist Church. Thursday, April 8, 2021 at 11:00 A.M., with Dr. Danny Wiggins and Rev. Lee Jones officiating.  Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery, Clayhatchee, AL.  The family will receive friends at Searcy Funeral Home Enterprise Chapel, Wednesday, April 7, 2021 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Lewieand Luna Mae Smith, Clayhatchee, AL.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Summers Smith, Clayhatchee, AL; daughter, Summer (Michael) Martin, Enterprise, AL; son, Scott Smith, Newnan, GA; grandchildren, Nicholas Smith; Elizabeth Smith; Hannah Smith, all of Newnan, GA; Emma Martin; Elleigh Martin, both of Enterprise, AL; sisters, Sue Frazier, Chester, VA; Glenda Lee, Dothan, AL; Shelby Benefield, Clayhatchee, AL; Peggy Searcy, Enterprise, AL; brother, Ted Smith, Enterprise, AL.
