Sue Shirley

Sue Shirley, of Dothan, died Wednesday morning, July 31, 2013 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center. She was 65.

Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 2, 2013 at Smyrna Baptist Church with Brother James Bell officiating. Byrd Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.

Sue was born May 9, 1948 in Dothan where she resided all of her life. She was of the Baptist faith.

She is predeceased by her husband, Marvette Shirley who died in 2007.

She is survived by two daughters, Regina K. Parker (Billy) of Cottonwood and Ronda Lynn (Ronnie) of Pansey; a son, Luke Shirley (Angel) of Dothan; grandchildren, Yvette Parker, Alex Parker,Gabe Parker, Rolanda Lynn Irwin, Spud Lynn, Ashley Shirley, Luke Shirley, Jr., Jacob Shirley and Cameron Shirley; great-grandchildren, Raya Blalock, Elllie Lynn Butler and Ansleigh Irwin; several nieces and nephews.
