Summer Keeton passed away on December 28, 2020. Summer was 33 years old.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at 2 PM at Sunset Memorial Park at the Angel Pavilion. Lifelong friend and Pastor, Mike Shortt, will be officiating. A celebration of Summer’s life will follow immediately at the reception center. In lieu of flowers that will wilt away, her sisters ask that you donate in memory of Summer to: Stepping Stone Center for Recovery, 1815 Corporate Square Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32216
It is no secret Summer struggled with addiction and mental illness her entire life. She had many who joined in her battle to help her but in the end, it won out. She wanted peace and wanted the fight to be over. For those that are left behind to remember her, remember her laugh, her smile and her love of all genres of music. If she loved you, you know it and you made an impact in her life.
She leaves behind her sister Stefani Dykes and her husband Jonathan Dykes of Dothan, AL. and sister Tabithia Caysee Brown and her husband Chris Brown of Cohutta, GA. She also has left behind two nieces Mary Opal Brown and Krisa Haley Brown and her nephew Elias Judge Dykes. In addition to her immediate family, she leaves behind her boyfriend, Chris Robinson of Rome, GA, and many friends whom she considered family.
