COLUMBIA. . .Susan Marie Clifton, a resident of Columbia, died early Sunday afternoon, May 31, 2015, at her home. She was 53.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 3, 2015, in the First Baptist Church of Columbia with Pastor Tony Deese officiating. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Wednesday in the church sanctuary.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Gentiva Hospice, P.O. Drawer 2127, Dothan, AL 36302.
Susan Marie Clifton was born in San Bernardino, California and was reared in Dayton, Oregon. She formerly lived in Kinsey before moving to Columbia in 2009. Susan served her country in the United States Navy. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Columbia. Susan was formerly employed by Dairy Fresh, Inc. as a yard spotter and had also been employed by Prime, Inc. as an over the road driver. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur James Johnson and Adeline Loreen Oberton Johnson.
Surviving relatives include her husband, Darrell Glenn Clifton, Columbia; a son, Justin Allen Erhart, Columbia; two step-daughters, Marissa Robin Wiles (John), and Ashleigh Clifton, both of Prattville; a step-son, Steven Clifton (Amanda), Prattville; two sisters, Carol Aubrey (Les), Silverton, OR; and Bonnie Dean, Lewiston, UT; two brothers, Danny Brayton, Redmond, OR; and Eddie Brayton (Leta), Sheridan, OR; three step-grandchildren, Kaileigh Clifton, Beileigh Clifton and Isaac Wiles; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ruth Ann Bennett, David Clifton (Nicole), Robert Clifton (Judy), Phyllis Clifton and Judy Faye Clifton.
