SUSAN  MILLER  DAVIS

ABBEVILLE. . .Susan Miller Davis, a resident of Abbeville, died Saturday morning, February 3, 2018, in a Dothan hospital. She was 82.

            Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 7, 2018, in the Pilgrim Rest Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Joey Hudspeth officiating. Holman-Abbeville Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 10:30 A.M. Wednesday at the mortuary.

            Mrs. Davis was born in Pontiac, Michigan and was reared in California. She lived in various locations in the United States and California before moving to Abbeville in 2000. Mrs. Davis served her country in the U. S. Army during the Korean War era. She was of the Catholic Faith. Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Franklin Davis and a brother, Daniel Miller.

            Surviving relatives include two daughters, Deborah Escareno, California; and Karen Noy (Cary), McKinney, Texas; five grandchildren, Miranda Sisson (Jeff), Anthony Norman, Echo Levelle, Jeremy Kays and Bobby Levelle; three great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Mary Strickland (James), Abbeville.
