Tammee Sue Childree, 42, of Dothan, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2013 at a local hospital.

Services will be 11 am Wednesday at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Grimes officiating and Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 am until 11 am Wednesday.

Tammee was born November 20, 1970 in Frankfort, IN. She resided in Tallahassee, Florida and Columbus, Georgia prior to moving to Dothan in 1993. Tammee was a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her sister Angela Piasecki.

Survivors include her husband Michael Childree of Slocomb; children, Nikki Sherman, Brenda Foust of Dothan, Alen Childree of Ashford, Michael Childree, Jr. of Dothan, Alyssa Childree, and Brian Childree of Dothan; a grandchild Sadie Childree; her parents, Doug and Opal Flood of Cowarts, Susan Whitmire of Omaha, NE; a brother Tom and Deb Whitmire of Omaha, NE; step-brothers, Dane Jones, Jesse Jones, and Patrick Jones.
