GRIMES…Tammy D. Key, a resident of Caryville, Florida, formerly of Grimes, Alabama, died Thursday afternoon, December 15, 2016, in the Covenant Hospice Care Center in Panama City, Florida. She was 52.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Monday, December 19, 2016, in the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery, near Grimes, with Dr. David Coggins officiating. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
Tammy was born in Dothan and reared in Grimes where she lived most of her lifetime. She was a graduate of Dale County High School in Midland City. Tammy was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bonifay and was a former member of the Midland City Baptist Church. She enjoyed attending church and participating in all church activities. Tammy was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Wyatt Key, her mother, Nina Champion Key Foraker, her special paternal grandparents, Fred and Katherine Key and also her maternal grandparents, David and Alice Champion.
Surviving relatives include two brothers, Mac Key, New Hope, FL and Jamie Raley; several aunts and uncles, including a special aunt and uncle, Amelia Key Joyner and Johnny Joyner, Grimes; several cousins.
