Taneka Lavette Hart

The family of Teneka Lavette Hart is very saddened to announce her passing on Thursday, March 23, 2023 following an extended illness. She was 46 years young.

Teneka was born on July 18, 1976 in Clermont, Florida and live the early years of her life in Groveland, Florida. She was a 1994 graduate of South Lake High School where she enjoyed cheering and playing softball. She was very athletic and was even offered a softball scholarship. Teneka would become a Nuclear Stress Technician following her college graduation. In 2009, Teneka began working as a Medical Instrument Technician at Orlando VA Medical Center until her recent illness. She resided in New Jersey prior to moving back to Florida in 2011 and moved to Dothan for the past month. Her wonderful smile and tenacious energy will be missed by her family and friends.

Teneka leaves to cherish her memories her children, Kyle Lewis James and Zamaria Marrero; and a host of beloved family and friends.
