Tarrell Scott Tedders, 47, a resident of Newton passed away Thursday, February 5, 2015 at a local hospital.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, February 9, 2015 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Malvern. The family will receive friends from 2-3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Tedders was born July 28, 1967 in Corbin, KY and moved to Dothan at an early age. He was a 1986 graduate of Rehobeth High School, owned and operated ColbyCo Express Trucking Company for the past 24 years. He had some cabinetry work that was showcased in the Better Homes and Garden magazine, loved his motorcycle and to scuba dive. He was a family man and loved his children.
Survivors include his wife Nerissa Qualls Tedders; sons, Colby Tedders and Trey Tedders; a daughter Rachel Tedders (T.J.) Bradley; step-sons Cameron Cannon and Dustin Cogburn; step-daughter Peyton Cannon and Amber Cogburn; grand-children, Caraline Bradley and Ansleigh Bradley; parents, Tommy (Glenda) Tedders and Robbie Dolores (W.J. Bell) Still; brothers, Jeffrey Hughes, Larry Alan Hughes, Mark Hughes, and Jacob Lance Tedders; a sister Alayna Tedders (Michael Wayne) Hamilton; a stepbrother Wayne Terrell; a stepsister Tammy Bennett; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Brenton Tedders.
