NEWTON. . .Tenisa Marie Henderson, a resident of Newton, died Friday, September 23, 2016, at her home. She was 34. She was a loving mother, sister, daughter, and aunt. She carried a smile on her face that would light up a room. She was full of life, and believed in living life to the fullest.
Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, September 29, 2016, in the Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Ozark with Reverend Jim Hill officiating. The family will receive friends following the memorial service in the church sanctuary. Following the services in Ozark, friends are invited to gather at 282 Central Street, Napier Field. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Haven of Hope, 21049 Highway 43, Mt. Vernon, AL 39560.
Tenisa Marie Henderson was a lifelong resident of Ozark and was employed by MAHA in Pinckard as an electronics assembly technician. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Wilbur and Aurecia Jenkins Sullivant, and Foy and Jean Smith Henderson, and step-father, Richard Nowland.
Surviving relatives include two sons, Toby Gumpenberger and Cody Gumpenberger, both of Ozark; her mother, Darlene Sullivant Nowland, Navarre, FL; and her father, Ricky Henderson, Echo; a sister, Ranee Henderson, Skipperville; three step-sisters, Ivy Nowland, Melissa Phillips and Dana Nowland; a brother, Shane Henderson, Newton; a step-brother, Nickolas Nowland; five nieces and two nephews; her fiancé’, Todd Tyler; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
