SHORTERVILLE. . .Tereasa Faye Woods, a resident of Shorterville, died Thursday morning, June 27, 2024, at her home. She was 67.

            Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, June 29, 2024, in the Shorterville Baptist Church with Pastor Matthew Quincey and Pastor Guy Causey officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Saturday in the church sanctuary. Holman-Abbeville Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.

            Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to S.H.A.R.K., P.O. Box 126, Abbeville, AL 36310.
            Tereasa Woods was born in Ft. Gaines, Georgia and was raised in Shorterville, daughter of the late Donald Roger Wood and Alice Faye Hutto Wood. She was a graduate of Abbeville High School and received an Associates Degree from Wallace Community College. Tereasa was a member of the Shorterville Baptist Church. She was formerly employed by McLane Company of Dothan as a dispatcher. In earlier years, Tereasa worked with Cutler Egg Products in Abbeville and Kellwood Company in Cuthbert, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. “Bobby” Woods.

            Surviving relatives include a daughter, Kelli Jackson (CW5 Mark Jackson), Herndon, Kentucky; a son, Chris Woods (Shana), Abbeville; a brother, Glenn Wood (Carol), Slocomb; grandchildren, Christian Woods, Reagan Woods, Adam Jackson, Ben Jackson and Sarah Jackson and a nephew, Jeremiah Wood (Courtney).

            Serving as active pallbearers will be the grandsons and Robert Hutto, Ashley Robinson and Danny Mobley.
