Teresa Ann Schirmer passed away at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Alabama surrounded by her mom Juanita, her husband Steve and her daughters Angela and Shanane on December 5, 2017.

Funeral Services will be held 2 pm Tuesday December 12, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

She worked in customer service for many years prior to her illness. Teresa was a hardworker and could always be greeted with a smile on her face. She loved life and she loved her family. Teresa enjoyed making her yearly trips to see her daughter Shanane and grandchildren in Colorado and taking trips into the mountains for the scenic views. As well as cooking Sunday dinners for her mom. She devoted her life to caring for her husband and daughter Angela. She could often be found spending time with her dad at the Coffee Kettle in Ozark prior to his death.

Born to Juanita and the late Thomas Henderson in Oakland California on February 13, 1963. She is survived include her husband Steve Schirmer of twenty years; two daughters Shanane (Jay) Barrow of Colorado and Angela Henderson of Alabama; her five grandchildren, Sierra, Matthew, Madison, Andrew and Andrea Barrow. She also leaves behind her sister Peggy Caldwell of Virginia, and niece Heather Caldwell of Virginia.

Teresa is preceded in death by her father, Thomas Henderson, her brother Larry Caldwell and her grandson Jacob Barrow.
