Terina Lorlene Brookshire, age 51, passed away Monday, January 2, 2017 of injuries sustained during the tornado.

Services will be 10 am Saturday January 7, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home with Rev. Chuck Spivey and Rev. Jimmy Cook officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Robert Byrd directing. Family will receive friends at Sunset Memorial Park Funeral Home from 6-8 pm on Friday, January 6, 2017. At other times the family will be at Bryan Brookshire residence, 53 Stanford Hill Road, Newton, Alabama.

Terina was born on December 9, 1965 in Jacksonville, Florida and lived the early years of her life in Daleville, AL. She lived in the Dothan area most of her life. She was a 1985 graduate of Daleville High School and attended Riley Business College where she received a degree as a certified nurse assistant. She was employed at Enterprise Nursing Home for several years and was a bell ringer for The Salvation Army.

Ms. Brookshire was predeceased by her father, Howard E. Brookshire, Sr.; her mother, Mary E. Brookshire; and a brother, Howard E. Brookshire, Jr.

Terina is survived by a brother, Bryan (Robbie) Brookshire; a nephew, Timothy (Dorothy) Brookshire; a great niece, Isabella Brookshire; and several uncles and cousins.
