Date of Service: A celebration of his life will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 12 pm.

Terrance Jabbar Butler, a resident of Dothan, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at a local hospital.


A celebration of his life will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 12 pm.


Terrance was born on April 27, 1973 in Macon, Georgia to Mr. Donnie Butler and Mrs. Debra Cainion-Butler. Terrance was reared in a Christian home. He was a member of Holy Neck Missionary Baptist Church where he was baptized and confessed his life to Christ at an early age. Terrance was raised in Dothan, AL and was a 1992 graduate of Northview High School. Terrance attended Wallace Community College. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1992. Terrance was a career truck driver and was employed with the Martin Brower Trucking Company in Atlanta, GA.


In 2013, he was united in holy matrimony to Teleetha Blocker-Butler. They were devoted to one another in love for 12 years. Memories of their life together will be cherished by his loving and devoted wife. “You were the light of my life, and your love still shines bright.”


Terrance also leaves to cherish his memories to his loving parents, Donnie Butler and Debra Cainion-Butler; two beloved daughters, Mikayla and Tamecia Butler; two beloved sons, Jalen Veals and Tyreece Bolden, Jr. (Tank); one devoted sister, YaQuita Denson; beloved Grandmother, Ms. Minnie Tucker (Brooklyn, NY); and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and special friends.


He is preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Ezell Cainion and Vera B Cainion.
