Terri Lynn Hudspeth, 40, of Dothan passed away Sunday, March 24, 2013 at her residence.
Memorial services will be held 2 pm Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Memphis Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Tate officiating and Robert Byrd directing. The family will be receiving friends at their home, 803 Mayfair Street, Dothan. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
Terri was born December 6, 1972 in Houston County and resided in Dothan all of her life. She survived her battle with leukemia at the young age of 13. Terri attended Dothan High School and was employed with Extendicare Health and Rehabilitation and with Wesley Manor. Terri loved spending time with her family and enjoyed reading. She was a member of Memphis Baptist Church. Terri was preceded in death by her grandmother Lucille Marshall, Pauline Burke, and by her niece, Sabina Burke.
Survivors include her husband, Eddie Hudspeth, Dothan; her daughters, Jessica Vaughan and Lynsey Hudspeth, Dothan; her granddaughter, Madalynn Bishop; her parents, Jennifer and Elton Burke, Dothan; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Bill and Angie Hudspeth, Dothan; her brother, Jimmy Mark Burke, Athens, GA; her adopted family, Casi and Jeffery Peters, Lawanda and Charlie Henderson; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dianne and Greg Hudspeth; her niece, Lauren Parker; her nephews, Justin Feller, Corey and Thomas Hudspeth also survives.
