Thelma B. Platt, age 96, of Enterprise, AL, passed peacefully to a better place on Wednesday, May 6, 2020.

She and her husband, George, owned and operated George Platt Studio in Enterprise for many years.  Mrs. Platt received her LPN license at age 48 with top grades in her class and worked at Coffee General/Humana Hospital in Enterprise until her retirement.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Platt and infant daughter Rachel Platt.

Survivors include her daughter, Georgeann Durant (Doug) of Spring, TX; her son, Charlie Platt, of Dothan, AL; 5 grandchildren, Brantley Platt, Joshua Platt, Jordan Werner (Ben), Chris Durant and Jeremy Durant; 1 great-grandchild, Pierce Werner; niece Karen Spann Garrett, nephew, Earl Dukes, cousin Elizabeth Mooney.

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, there will be not be services at this time. The family requests any remembrances be directed to Kindred Hospice, 2740 Headland Avenue, Dothan, AL  36303 or Camp Wiregrass, C/O College Avenue Church of Christ, P.O.  311470, Enterprise, AL  36331.  The family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers and special thanks to Kindred Hospice for their kindness and care.
