Thelma Patricia Mullins, of Dothan, passed away Sunday, November 26, 2017 in Weston, Georgia. She was 69.

A memorial service will be held 11 am Saturday, December 2, 2017 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mike Grimes officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends 10-11 am prior at the funeral home.

Mrs. Mullins was born March 30, 1948 and lived in Columbus, Georgia during her earlier years. She moved to Dothan in 1973 and lived here for the past 44 years. She was employed with Dothan City Schools as a teacher at Heard Elementary School for over 30 years until she retired in 2011. Mrs. Mullins loved to crochet, enjoyed going camping with her family, and doing crossword puzzles. She was a member at Grandview Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Peggy Neel; and her husband Jack Mullins.

She is survived by her sons, James Allen Willis, Jr., Cary Willis, and Robert Willis; her daughter, Robin Mullins; her 8 grandchildren; her great-grandchild; her 3 brothers, Earl Neel, Jr., Richard Lupo, Donald Lupo; and several nieces and nephews.
