THELMA WILLIAMS MONEY
HALEBURG…Thelma Williams Money, a former resident of Haleburg, died Tuesday afternoon, June 19, 2012, in the Henry County Health & Rehabilitation Facility in Abbeville. She was 84.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, June 22, 2012, in the Holman-Abbeville Mortuary Chapel with Reverend Coley M. Holloway and Reverend Ray Cobb officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery, Hartford Highway, Dothan. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Thursday at the mortuary.
Mrs. Money was born in Hazard, Kentucky having lived in Haleburg since 1947. She was retired from WestPoint Pepperell in Abbeville and was a member of the Haleburg Baptist Church. Mrs. Money was preceded in death by her husband, Byron Alexander Money, Sr., a son, Byron Alexander Money, Jr. and her brother, Jessie Williams.
Surviving relatives include her daughter, Jeanette Money Johnson and husband, Greg, Haleburg; two sons, Ray Money and wife, Marsha, Abbeville and Lloyd Money, Newville; eight grandchildren, Kim Barefoot, Josh Money(Christian), Alex Johnson, Cassie Johnson, Misty Cobb(Donny), Mandy Mann, Christi Knighton(Calvin), Mitch Money; eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Josh Money, Alex Johnson, Mitch Money and her nephews.
