Theodore Kaslow, 88, of Enterprise, AL, passed away, Thursday, September 18, 2014 at his home.
There are no services scheduled.
Ted grew up in New York City where he could ride the subway alone to Manhattan for movies, live shows, lunch and fares for fifty-cents. He trained as a navigator in WWII with the Army Air Corps. as a 2nd Lieutenant. He attended MIT, receiving his master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering. He worked in Philadelphia on Gyros and Medical Diagnostic Machines. Winters there led him to work in Florida at Pan American World Services supporting NASA. This was from the early manned space flights through the Saturn Program. He was transferred to the Trident Submarine Base at Bangor, Washington, where he worked until retiring. He was a kind, loving, and generous man.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister and brother.
At the end, he was cared for with great Love, by his wife Rebecca, his son, Ken and his daughters, Laura and Melanie. He loved greatly, his seven grandchildren and one great-grandson. He will be endlessly missed.
