Theophilus Watheau “T.W.” Roberts passed away Monday, May 20, 2013 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan.  He was 82.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Thursday, May 23, 2013, from the chapel of Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home with Reverend Joey Pettis officiating.  Burial with military honors will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens under the direction of Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home.  Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.  Flowers will be accepted.


T.W. was born on January 22, 1931, in Dale County, Alabama to the late Comer and Hettie Benefield Roberts.  He served in the U.S. Army, and was retired from civil service in Ft. Rucker.  He was a member of Corinth Freewill Baptist Church in Midland City.     


In addition to his parents, T.W. was preceded in death by his wife Myra “Nell” Roberts.  He is survived by his son, Allen Roberts, and wife, Kathy; grandchildren, Wesley (Meagan) Roberts, Johna Roberts, Kristy Drake; great-grandchildren, Toni Roberts, Alex Winkler, Noah Roberts, Brock-Allen Roberts, Donald Mason Drake.  Also surviving is his very special family member, Zelmadean Mallory, and his nieces and nephews.
