Mr. Theron Norris Bedsole of St. Hwy 54, Kinston, Alabama passed away Monday, February 10, 2014. He was 73.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 12, 2014, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Phillip Barnes officiating. Burial will follow in the Travelers Rest Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday beginning at 1:00 p.m. and continue until service time.
Mr. Bedsole, affectionately known as “Skeet”, was born August 27, 1940, to the late Leamon and Nora Mosley Bedsole. For more than 20 years he owned and operated a plumbing and electrical business. He enjoyed fishing and loved Alabama “Roll Tide” football.
In addition to his parents a brother, Harlon Bedsole, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Judy Kaye Hall Bedsole, Samson; four children: Becky Johnson (Wayne), Bonifay, Bryan Bedsole (Wanda), Samson, Blayne Bedsole (Teresa), Samson, and Bonnie Luster (Bucky), Samson; six grandchildren: Casey Day (Shaun), Geneva, Garrett Glisson (Randi), Samson, Christopher Bedsole (Brittney), Hartford, Justin Bedsole (Jessica), Ft. Walton, Julie Bedsole, Geneva, and Kaylyn Kersey, Samson; five great-grandchildren: Kaylee Raines, Lynkin Raines, Gunner Glisson, Molly Glisson and Brylee Bedsole; five siblings: Joyce Turberville (John), Samson, Thermon Bedsole (Wanda), Kinston, Mildred Owens (Harold), Samson, Wilton Bedsole, Samson and Bobby Bedsole (Gwen), Samson; other extended family and friends.
