Thomas Bryant Cain of Geneva passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2017.  He was 47.


 


Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 26, 2017 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise with Bro. Billy Cardwell officiating.  Inurnment will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday beginning at 1:00 and continuing until service time.


 


Flowers will be accepted, or donations may be made to a church of your choice.


 


Thomas was born September 18, 1969, in Coffee County.  He was a 1987 graduate of Slocomb High School. He joined the army as an air traffic controller, serving during the Panamanian Conflict.   He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and he loved water skiing.


 


He was preceded in death by his father, Travis B. Cain; maternal grandparents, Ervin and Claudie Creel; paternal grandparents, Leamon and Bessie Cain; nephew, A1C Mark M. Wheeler II; and faithful K9 companion and hunting buddy, Alec.


 


Survivors include a daughter, Amy Deanna Cain of Midland City, who was the light of his life and whom he loved dearly; mother, Joyce Lindsey of Enterprise; three sisters: Cindy Cain of Cocoa, FL, Laura Collins of Melbourne, FL, and Sharon Cain of Elba; nephew: Ryan C. Collins of Fort Huachuca, AZ; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
