THOMAS HAROLD QUINN
HOOKSTOWN, PA. . . Thomas Harold Quinn, a resident of Hookstown, Pennsylvania, formerly of Dothan, died Wednesday, May 23, 2012, in a New York hospital. He was 66.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, May 25, 2012 in the Holman Headland Mortuary Chapel with Father Patrick Gallagher officiating. Graveside services, with military honors, will follow in the Pinckard Memorial Cemetery. Holman-Headland Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Friday at the mortuary.
Mr. Quinn was born and reared in Rome, New York, son of the late Harold Thomas Quinn and Emma Dowdell Quinn. He served two tours of duty in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. Mr. Quinn was a member of the St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church in Center Township, Pennsylvania. He was also a member of the VFW in Rome, New York. Mr. Quinn retired from U.S. Airways as an airline mechanic.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Evelyn Boone Quinn, Hookstown, PA; a son Thomas Harold Quinn, Jr., Dothan; a grandson, Woody Brandon Quinn Capo; a sister Shirley Erb, Honeoye Falls, N.Y.; his mother-in-law Geraldine Boone, Headland; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law from the Boone family.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Billy Boone, Eddie Boone, Matt Smith, Ryan Boone, Albert Curry and Dusty Boone.
