Thomas (Tom) Scott Darnell passed away suddenly at his home in Level Plains following an apparent heart attack. He was 46.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 25, 2015 at the Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel in Enterprise with Reverend Steve Bruce and Reverend Jim Endrihs officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to and following the memorial service.
Tom was born March 4, 1969, in Texas, to William Thomas Darnell and Aundria Leigh Manning. He graduated from McQueen High School in Reno, NV in 1987. He moved to Alabama in 1998 where he began working as an Armament Mechanic at Fort Rucker. He loved his family and cherished his pets. He enjoyed reading, collecting, fishing, and cooking. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend to many.
A grandmother, Helen Darnell, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his mother, Aundria Helling (Steven) of Midland City; father, William Thomas Darnell (Janice) of Panama City Beach, FL; 2 sisters: Lana Partridge (Stan) and NaCole Johnson (Keith); 5 brothers: Kristopher Darnell (Amber), Nicholas Darnell, Paul Bernier, Brook Green, Justin Green (Suzanne); nieces and nephews: Cassandra Abston, Nathan Partridge, Courtney Bradley, Sebastian Clark, Patrick Darnell, Emily Darnell, James Darnell, Katherine Darnell, Edina and Isabella; Aunt Sarah Bruce and family; Uncle Rick Manning and family.
