Obituary: Tiffany & Rylan Cobb

Tiffany Michelle Cobb, 26, born July 10, 1998 and Rylan Michelle Cobb, 6, born February 8, 2018 both went to be with the Lord on July 13, 2024.  You will not find a mother and daughter that loved being together any more than Tiffany and Rylan.  Perhaps that’s why the Lord took them to Heaven together.

Tiffany was employed with Elijah and Vaughn Family Dentistry and although she only been there a few weeks, everyone had already fallen in love with her.   That is a good description of her entire life.   Tiffany was like a ray of sunshine that seemed to affect the lives of everyone she met.   People always talked about her sweet personality.  Tiffany graduated from Northview High School in 2016 and worked various jobs, but her biggest passion was being a mother.   She was so proud of her three amazing children, and they all seem to have the same loving heart as their mother. Tiffany was an amazing daughter, a loving wife and a wonderful mother.  She will be missed tremendously by everyone that had the privilege of knowing her.

Tiffany is survived by husband, Ty Cobb; children: Layken Cobb, and Kyser Cobb; parents, Larry & Sandra Batchelor; siblings: Preston Sellers, and Heather Johnson; grandmother, Shirleen Batchelor; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Rylan Cobb was one of the sweetest children you will ever meet.  She had a funny sense of humor, and a truly loving heart demonstrated by the way she treated everyone around her.  She was always pretending to be a mom with her baby dolls, and she had a “Mother Hen” attitude about her sister and brother.  She loved to play with them and watch over them all the time.  Rylan loved Jesus, and she loved going to church.   We all just wish she would’ve waited longer to join Him in Heaven.  Rylan would have loved the fact that she got to save so many lives by donating her organs to sick people that needed her help.   That’s the type of person she was, and another reason we will miss her so much.

Rylan is survived by father, Ty Cobb; siblings: Layken Cobb, and Kyser Cobb; grandparents, Paula & Jeff Peel, Lee Cobb, and Larry & Sandra Batchelor; great-grandparents: Barbara & Kire Pullum, Bill Cobb, and Shirleen Batchelor; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 22, 2024, at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church in Dothan with Rev. Michael Lawson officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing. The family will receive friends at the church from 9:00 a.m. until service time.

A private family graveside service will follow in the church cemetery.
