Timmy Roger Vaughan of Dothan, AL passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022. He was 80.

Graveside services will be held ay 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Mt. Ida Congregational Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Red Coleman officiating and Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva, AL directing.

Timmy was born in Holmes County, FL on July 23, 1941 to the late James Leon and Mary Esther Reese Vaughan. Mr. Vaughan served six years in the Air Force and also worked as an aircraft mechanic. He was an avid fisherman. He could build just about anything and was also a skilled mechanic.  

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Ruby Vaughan McDuffie.

He is survived by three children, Tesha Kay DePriest (Mark) of Huntsville, AL, Timothy Heath Vaughan, and Meredith Hope Fenn both of Dothan, AL; six grandchildren, Jordan, Caleb, Noah, Jayda, Jacob, and Aubrey; two brothers, Oscar Vaughan (Louise) of Geneva, AL, and Julius Ray Vaughan (Linda) of Montgomery; one sister, Vida Seagel of Dothan, AL; and one brother-in-law, Herman McDuffie of Montgomery, AL.
